This one is one bold dahlia daring me to paint her!  The intricacies of these flowers are fascinating, so much detail in one small stem.  A bold injection of colour and a real statement piece. 
 

Designed initially on my iPad and then drawn and painted on to canvas, these pieces from the Botanicals collection take many weeks to complete but I do enjoy the process and the results.
