I used to always paint with a credit card until I had a shoulder operation and then I discovered sketching on my iPad. I still broke images down into shapes, but initially mapping it out on a screen allowed for me to get the composition and the palette right before I then translated it on to canvas with a brush. This piece was the start of a collection that has really moved my art forward.
