This botanical collection started during summer when it was too hot to paint in the studio and I was busy sketching in the shade.  Keeping the style very loose it has created a more playful style. It has been a lot of fun painting this collection.  One of these pieces needed to be named after the stripes on a paper sweetie bag. Memories of 10p mix-ups!  The pink and mustards are a great colour combination in this piece.

Framed in a mould called St.Ives, the frame has been painted in a pink stripe to match the background of the painting.
